Hot August Nights in July

The girls and I spent the last couple weeks of July in Reno with Katie, Ryan, Tyler and Aunt Debbie. We had a lot of fun just hanging out and visiting with each other, hitting the splash pad, Lake Tahoe, the jumper place, and The Hot August Nights car show downtown. We sure do miss these guys!!!

Lots of water play and Popsicles made the hot days enjoyable. 

Lake Tahoe is stunningly gorgeous! I could have easily spent a week here soaking up the beauty and peacefulness of it all. The kids (and the big kids) loved jumping waves on the crystal clear shore and building sand castles. 

Aria discovered hula hooping and fell in love! She hula-ed for a good hour and got pretty good at it! I hula-ed for about 15 minutes (with 35 hoops!) and was sore for days!

We took the kids to an indoor jumper gym for my birthday. THEY had a blast, as you can see. ;)

These two give me quite the run for my money these days, but tey are sweet and fun and happy girls! I am blessed and thankful!

Our 5th Anniversary

For our 5th anniversary, we returned to StarRanch where we were married for a trail ride and sunset dinner. It was fantastic and beautiful! This place and the sweet people who run it never disappoint!
